Assembled under Honorary Conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen's direction, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the combined talents of Swedish Radio Choir and Eric Ericson Chamber Choir, alongside violinist Eldbjørg Hemsing, sopranos Hannah Holgersson and Ida Falk Winland, as well as saxophonist Theo Hillborg were summoned onstage at Berwaldhallen on Thursday to celebrate Anders Hillborg at 70 with a resplendent selection of the composer’s music from mid-90s to present, scored for various instrumental and vocal line-ups, given in ravishing performances.
