Eldbjørg Hemsing's Sony debut album 'Arctic' - OUT NOW
Arctic is a climate change focused musical journey through the remote regions of Norway, written as a celebration of the area's beauty and an acknowledgment of its fragile ecosystem and the impact of global warming.
Arctic was recorded with the Arctic Philharmonic Orchestra in Bodø, a Norwegian town within the Arctic Circle. The project features orchestral arrangements and melodies by Frode Fjellheim (“Frozen”), Ola Gjeillo, James Newton Howard, Selim Palmgren, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Henning Sommerro, Ole Bull, Edvard Grieg and the world premiere recordings of a 20-minute “Arctic Suite” by L.A.-based film composer Jacob Shea (best known for his work on Blue Planet).
