Eldbjørg will release 'Arctic', a concept album about a beautiful region threatened by climate change, on Sony Classical on 3 February 2023.
Eldbjørg releases the first single from the project on 2 September. Titled “Vårsøg”, the title roughly translates as “the search for a new spring." Originally written as a folk-pop song, it embodies the hope for a fresh start in life. Arranger Ben Palmer embeds the melody in an emotional hymn for violin and orchestra.
